Let Love Lead (Part One)

Text: John 13:34-35

According to our text today, this kind of Love is the kind Christ taught us to show to others.

Jesus told us that by loving one another, the people of the world will attest to the fact that we are His people (Christians).

According to 1 Corinthians 13, our text for the month, Love takes all manner of things (Verses 4–7), Romans 13:10. Therefore, this kind of Love becomes stronger even in the face of trial.

To Love one another is a commandment from Christ; this is important because, to bring unbelievers to God through Christ, Love is a key factor.

The Bible tells us that Loving one another makes us fulfill the law (Romans 13:8).

Are you ready to pay the price to Love others in spite of the happenings? If yes, you have made one of the greatest decisions of your life.

We receive grace to Love others the way Christ loved us, in Jesus name, amen.

Emissary Samuel.

WISDOM THE PRINCIPAL THING

 Wisdom The Principal Thing.

Mark 7:25-30

Oh, what a soul. The Syrophoenician woman is the kind of wife every man should look out for. I'm not about to dish out anything about marriage nor relationship.

After studying the Gospel of Mark, the Lord opened my eyes to see chapter 7 and verses 25-30 in such a way that struck me and i am about to share with you the striking thing.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

I pondered on this scripture for a while, though it was ringing in my spirit. WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING. After a while my teacher the Holy Spirit began to teach me exactly what happened at the scene in Tyre and Sidon between Jesus and the wise woman. Jesus was astound, impressed by the saying or wisdom of the woman, remember, she needed help and her wise words left her helper (Jesus) with no other option than to instantly help her (Ecclesiastes 8:1). The only phrase that was not used for the woman as well was "What Manner of Woman Is This", that her wisdom impressed the son of God so much.

The striking thing was that, the woman was WISE and HUMBLE, even to the lines of her words.

One thing I am sure can draw men to us is our wise words. In the case of the woman, her wise and humble reply drew Jesus' attention, the Message Bible said, "Jesus was impressed..." Even if Jesus had not wanted to do anything instantly, meekness and wisdom was seen in her words which triggered the supernatural. Jesus said wait for your turn but the woman had a good reason with her wise words, yes Lord, even if it is still small I'll yet partake of it (my emphasis). Wisdom directed her and she understood perfectly that wisdom is the key.

It will be really great what God will do with our lives, may we submit to Him continually.

Ecclesiastes 10:10 ...but wisdom is profitable to direct.

With the wisdom and meekness of this woman, believers should now know the importance of being wise and humble in dealing with God and men. It fast tracks our opportunities in getting what we want.

And I pray, may God grant and give us wisdom from above, in Jesus name Amen.

Proverbs 4:5, 7, 19:8, Ecclesiastes 10:10

Prove It

Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:21
1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

It is not enough to discover purpose, you need to confirm and prove it.

Oh yes, the word of God confirms it and I am working in it, have you proved it?
There must be proves on every given word.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Remember David, after Saul gave him his armour to fight Goliath?

1 Samuel 17:39
And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.

If David had gone after Goliath with king Saul's armour, i am afraid Goliath would have defeated him and Israel had become servants to the Philistines, but he prevailed by the reason of his faith in God and of the proved sling and stone.

Readers, you must prove all things, be it purpose, desires... etc

If God can be proved, why can't you prove that which you have received from him?

Malachi 3:10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Hebrews 3:9
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

For every purpose, desires, there must be time to prove and in proving, one must be sensitive.

Ecclesiastes 7:23
All this have I proved by wisdom: I said, I will be wise; but it was far from me.

Gift Of Men

Text: Exodus 17:12
Exodus 17:12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Oh Jesus, men are gift indeed.
Men in this case, can either be a male or a female as occasion may serve.
Men who have helped us in the time past and now, are rare gift from God. It is impossible to live without the gift
of men. One way or the other, one might have encountered men who will for all want you to succeed no matter the cost, men that have lifted our hands, men that had encouraged us and prayed with/for us.
Men like these are rare gems in the world.
Just yesterday while praying with a friend, she told me about how she had been praying for me and other ministers of God. Immediately I heard those words, joy sprouted out of my heart, nodding that of a truth there are men God deliberately deposit in peoples life and she is such a gift. I have got many a friend like that.

"iron sharpens iron..."

They can only be identified through in the spirit, they're rare.

Biblical Examples:
√ Moses, Aaron and Hur - Exodus 17:8-16

Exodus 17:12 - But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

√ David and Jonathan - 1 Samuel 23: 10-18

1 Samuel 23:16 - And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.

√ Peter and the Church - Acts 12:1-11

Acts 12:5 - Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

√ Paul and the Church - Romans 15:27-30, Ephesians 1:15-19

Romans 15:30 - Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

Ephesians 1:16 - Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

√ Epaphras and others - Colossians 4:1-14

Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

You have to be sensitive enough to identify them because they're everywhere. Locate yours.
